Hardy v. City of Tupelo

Hardy v. City of Tupelo United States District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi, Eastern Div., No.1:08CV00028-A-D (2009).  McLaughlin Law Firm was co-counsel for Plaintiff Cliff Hardy in this case.  A federal jury awarded damages to Hardy, a career police officer, due to retaliation and constructive discharge after Hardy delivered a speech opposing racial discrimination within the Police Department.  The jury found in Hardy’s favor as to all of his claims and awarded monetary damages.  The District Court also awarded Hardy front-pay and attorneys’ fees.
