Todd v. First Baptist Church

Todd v. First Baptist Church, 993 So. 2d 827 (Miss. 2008).  This Mississippi Supreme Court decision reversed a Circuit Court’s grant of summary judgment to the Defendant, a daycare facility.  The Supreme Court reinstated the claims of Lily Todd, a two-year old child who was horrifically injured in the daycare.  McLaughlin Law Firm also represented Lily after the appeal and the case was tried to a successful jury verdict which awarded damages for the child’s injuries.
